The Lost Soul |
The three folds ministries of the Devil from the beginning are to steal, to kill and to destroy. This was revealed by Jesus Christ in John 10:10a, "The thief comes only in order to steal, kill, and destroy" Good News Bible [GNB]. Through his ministries he has deceived many from the first Adam, who was created in the image of God and was to dominate the earth. The Devil stole the power to dominate and subdue the earth from man because he is the prince of this world - John 14:30.
For this simple reason, man lost his power and Apostle Paul says, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" - Romans 3:23. Also for the simple reason that man surrendered his power to the Devil, he cannot overcome the Devil on his own again. Thank God because HIS mercy endureth forever - Psalm 106:1c and they are new every morning - Lamentation 3:23a. HE made HIS plan of redemption available through HIS Son Jesus Christ to overcome the Devil and bring man back to his lost glory.
In the same verse Jesus Christ defined the Devil's ministries, HE defined HIS own too which is, to give life and give it more abundantly - John 10:10b. The redemption of God is in Jesus Christ and it is available to whoever receives and believes even on HIS name - John 1:12
Everyday, God is calling and saying, "Come now, and let us reason together: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool" - Isaiah 1:18. And HE said in the next verse to this, "If you be willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land"
We pray right now that God Almighty will meet you at your point of need in Jesus' name. Remember that our God is a God of second chance, because Jesus Christ says, "Come to ME all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" - Matthew 28:11.
